Travertine: cut, pattern and finish

Understand the four travertine selections in the DM Mining collection before preparing your project enquiry.

Architectural inspiration showing linear beige travertine flooring

Two cuts, two visual directions

The DM Mining collection includes cross-cut (CC) and vein-cut (VC) travertine. The cross-cut selections show a more mottled pattern. The vein-cut selections emphasize linear layers. Review the product photographs as a starting point, then confirm the actual batch with samples.

Choose your finish

Each cut is offered in a filled and honed selection and a filled and polished selection. Make the full combination clear in your request: cross-cut or vein-cut, then honed or polished. This helps avoid ambiguity when discussing samples and quotations.

Plan the layout

For vein-cut material, show the preferred direction of the linear pattern in drawings or reference images. For larger areas, review how the selected pieces will work together and agree the layout before ordering.

Confirm the practical details

Specify application, dimensions, thickness, finish, quantity and destination. Travertine tiles come in 1.2 cm, 2 cm and 3 cm thickness options. Confirm the full product configuration, slab requirements and suitability before ordering.

Compare your shortlist

Use the travertine collection to compare the four options side by side. Review samples under consistent lighting and confirm availability for your preferred cut and finish.
