Bauxite sourcing / Buying guide
What to include in a bauxite enquiry
A practical checklist for a clearer bauxite quotation: size, quality requirements, quantity and delivery.

Start with the size grade
DM Mining supplies three bauxite size grades: 0–10 mm, 10–50 mm and 50–150 mm. Specify your grade and any limits on undersize or oversize material, together with your chemical requirements.
Describe the quality requirement
Include your intended use and required chemical specification. If your process has acceptance limits, include them in your message. Ask which sampling and analysis documents will be used to confirm that the offered material meets your requirement.
Add quantity and destination
State the requested tonnage, whether the order is a single shipment or a recurring requirement, and the destination port or delivery address. Include a preferred delivery window so that availability and transport can be reviewed together.
Confirm the commercial basis
Ask for a written quotation specifying the material, size grade, quantity, shipping terms and validity period. Bauxite pricing reflects the agreed chemical specification, volume and delivery requirements.
Your enquiry checklist
Send the following: intended use; size grade; chemical specification; required tonnage; destination; preferred timing; and any testing or documentation requirements. This gives the team a practical starting point for a detailed response.
